About The Instructors

 
Both Sherry Peterson and Sandy Mayernick are licensed certified teachers who have been substitute teaching for over twenty years.  Their Substitute Teacher Training Program is endorsed by the Wisconsin State Department of Public Instruction (D.P.I.).

When the D.P.I. implemented an emergency rule allowing interested individuals with a four-year degree to substitute teach, there was a requirement that a training be completed before the emergency permit was issued.  TEAM EDUCATOR'S Substitute Teacher Training Seminar was the model program used by the D.P.I. to serve as an example of the type of training required.
